I am very excited to finally finish up the cockpit section "Welding" of the two place Big Toot. Tonight I started installing the Gusset strengthening plates to the cabane struts. This will add a tremendous amount of strength to this aircraft.
Note, how nice this .0625 4130 formed itself around the streamline tubing.
Enjoy the pictures. I only have five more to go. Will get a lot of it done tomorrow.
I think it is going to work out very nice.
