Tommy Meyer's
Original "Big Toot" - N64LT

No  Coincidence!
Originally, I had reserved 63TR as the FAA registration number for Big Toot.  One day, LJ discovered that I no longer had it and advised me of the situation. Somewhere along the way I forgot to renew the number. With that, the FAA put the number back into its pool of available numbers and someone else asked for it and put it to use.

I went to their site a searched out numbers and letters that I was interested in and discovered that 64 was available. Where's the No Coincidence? 64 just happens to be my EAA membership number. That number was originally my dad's. When he passed away, Paul Poberezny the founding member of the EAA and a family friend, offered to allow me to inherit the number.  I graciously accepted.

Before he died, I promised my dad that one day I would design and build a two seat Toot. I truely believe that losing the right to the original number and finding 64LT available is No Coincidence.  My sister actually was the one that pointed out the coincidence to me.
In some way it's George Meyer telling his son that he sees the job and approves.

Big Toot with the original propeller
Tommy calculated that Big Toot would perform better with a three blade propeller. He had one custom made to ensure there would be no significant change in the center of gravity.
