"Tommy's Toot" Makes a Cover Page!

The picture shown to the left, Tommy Meyer's own Little Toot, call sign 62TR, was used as the cover page for the inuagural issue of the  newsletter, 575 Hangar Talk, for EAA Chapter 575 in South Africa.

We received an email from Mr. Charles Flee, the editor for the local chapter of EAA. He requested use of the picture,  which we were most pleased to grant permission. We received back the first issue. The issue is viewable in the attached link.

Above is a picture published in Model Aviation in June, 2011, p. 39. It is a scale model Little Toot owned by Brad Osborne.

The event for the picture was the June 5 & 6, 2010 Scale Squadron Fly-In held at the Pomona Valley Model Airplane Club field in Chino, CA. This model won 3rd place in the Best Civilian Model category.
